Welcome to our new web site !
LTS Systems are an Australian made siren system., “formerly known as Locktronic Systems” the company began manufacturing sirens in the late 70’s.
The original founder of the company designed, patented and built the first siren system which was unique and distinctive with a true emergency sound which became recognized all over Australia.
The first model produced was the LTS500PR a single box unit with Wail, Yelp and Mix with PA and Radio Re-Broadcast functions and still available today.
In 2001 LTS Systems (formerly known as Locktronic systems) went through a change of ownership and became LTS Systems and in 2008 LTS Systems was bought by Fire Trader Australia, an already established company dealing with many Emergency Service organisations in Australia and internationally, it was a perfect fit for the LTS product range and Fire Trader Australia’s Emergency Vehicle offerings.
The LTS mix mode siren sound became the standard iconic Australian emergency siren sound, and was installed into almost all types of emergency response vehicles such as Police, Fire, and Ambulance etc. It has also been used in films and TV shows from the original Mad Max to the current Channel 10 show Rush to have an authentic and different sound.
The siren in original Mad Max movie has generated a huge interest from other countries including Canada and the US, where new market is evolving.
When you are called out to an emergency you don’t want to be fiddling with keyboard style switches panels, siren programming, fancy sounds and a multitude of confusing buttons.
You just need a siren system that is easy to operate with minimum amount of controls and effort and having the option of a mix mode siren allows drivers to concentrate through intersections rather then worrying about switching siren tones, because “it’s all about safety and every second counts”.
It was a very testing time when LS was purchased the integration of LTS Systems, rebuilding the company from scratch, and the steep learning curve we have had to undertake, there has been extensive modernisation, updating production and the consolidation of infrastructure and we thank all existing customers for their patience.
We have broadened the range to include our own and sourced new products and expanding our market place coverage to include OH&S evacuation and warning systems, we have been standardizing features and adding new products for differing market places with our aim to greatly increase the functionality and scope of our products.
